According to reports, the two renowned musicians’ issues started last month when Tiwa posted an Instagram story photo of herself with Davido’s child’s mother.
According to Tiwa’s police record, which has been reported by various local news sources, Davido took offense at the tweet, viewing it as an insult directed at him.
According to her, Davido responded to her by “uttering very disrespectful, malicious, and derogatory words.”
In addition, Tiwa claims that Davido sent out warnings to “be careful in Lagos,” calling this “unethical” and “a direct threat to my rights to life, privacy, and dignity.”
Davido has yet to address the allegations.
There are reports that the two celebrities unfollowed each other on Instagram as well.
Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the Lagos State Police, told the BBC that they had received Tiwa’s report.
